Standen plank and herringbone floors are a sure-fire winner, delivering soul and warmth through golden tones and character. This exaggerated rustic floor with characteristic smoky tones and deep textures perfectly embodies the authentic character of time worn floors at an extremely competitive price. Their appeal lies in their imperfections. They have been intentionally sawn, heavily brushed and carbonised - a process which authentically ages each board and creates a reclaimed look full of personality and charm. Available as 190mm engineered planks in lengths up to 1.9m or 540x90x20mm herringbone blocks, Standen offers impressive durability and resilience with a generous 4mm wear layer and a slip rating of 36 PTV in the wet. We used 20mm rustic grade European oak for these engineered long length planks. Rustic grade oak allows a virtually limitless size and number of knots, no maximum sap and colour variation throughout. Standen is currently UKTR certified, and we are working on achieving FSC or PEFC certification for this product. Currently 95% of all our products are FSC or PEFC certified, and we are working hard to get that to 100%.
